Welcome to the blog dedicated to our l’il Jackson! Jackson entered our lives in the wee hours of Sunday, July 6, 2014. In fact, he arrived at 01:23! His first lessons in counting will have extra special meaning to him.

Jackson weighed 7lbs, 5 oz at birth, and measured 20 inches long.

Did you know… that Jackson named himself?! In the delivery room about 20 minutes after birth, Joe wondered how we would finally choose among our short list of names. Joe looked at his little bundle and said, “Raise your hand if you want to be named Max.” No reaction. “Raise your hand if you want to be named Jackson.” Jackson raised his hand straight out of his blanket. And, thus our little Jackson was named.
